" Somber"
Group Show
Art box project
Stricoff Gallery, Chelsea,
Newyork, USA.
5/03/2018- 16/03/2018

"Somber" is from the collection of "Time After Time" showcased an amalgamation of photographic experiences pertaining to everyday life. It is a collection of exquisite prints of portraits of women that depicts an array of emotions, moods, spiritual questions and answers in context of space, time and self.
Certainly, time and images have a profound impact on our lives; it ispreservation of our memories, feelings, emotions and contortions ofpsyche. This show celebrates opinions in an ambiguous state
ofwonder of how, what, when and why? It may or may not lead to certain answers but personal and private interpretations of one’s each own.
With access to newer and easier ways of photographic tools, today old techniques of photography have somewhere lost their charm. This was an attempt to bring a magical awareness towards the lost art of double and multiple exposures. These photos have been made at the Art of Living International Center, Bangalore.
This work was first showcased at the prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai.

 "Area10 > 140"
Area 10. Peckham London
3/2008

140 artists, from Camberwell  came together to participate in a dynamic group show at one of the most exciting places in London. Area 10, an old delapidating warehouse was re done to create a space for the artists to showcase their talent. This area was vibrantly celebrated with the >140 show.
I had put up a floating structured sculpture made out of aluminium foil where the space between the plinth and the structure was the real sculpture.
